About the Inventor
Mr. Manpreet is the President and founder of MISRIS-(Manpreet’s International school of Roller & Ice Surfing) and is an authority in the field of Surfing since 1983, His Pleasant & Friendly approach and clear thinking has won him associates Colleagues & Friends World over. His excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills with an endless fountain of wisdom and knowledge made him a popular Athlete cum-coach and it reflects in his consistent records.
His Vision is to provide World class Roller & Ice Surfing coaching programs with latest techniques and to create awareness through educating people about the benefits of Surfing & inspiring sporting opportunities to young athletes.
How Roller Surf was Invented
As Mr. Manpreet is deeply passionate about Surfing, he wanted to share an exciting development in the world of roller sports that he believes could revolutionize the competition experience.
Reflecting on the challenges he faced as a Surfing in traditional group Surfing Championships enduring heats, quarter-finals, and finals back to back leading exhaustion to athletes, then he decided to develop a new concept of Roller Sport. This innovative sport eliminates heats and quarter-finals, opting for a direct final group racing with a time trial racing format and named it as Roller Surf.
